Easy setup for new users: Several reviewers have appreciated the web-based platform's straightforward setup process, which makes it accessible even for new users. The ease of sign-up and intuitive use of the platform allow beginners to quickly get started without any complexity.

Reliable customer support: Users have expressed their satisfaction with UberConference's reliable and responsive customer support. Many reviewers consider the troubleshooting process to be straightforward, and they appreciate the excellent support provided by UberConference.

Confusing User Interface: Some users find the user interface of UberConference to be confusing, resulting in a learning curve for new clients. The complexity of navigating through the platform has been mentioned by several reviewers as a drawback.

Difficulty with Screen Sharing: Users have expressed frustration with the screen share function while hosting meetings on UberConference. While it is easy for presenters to share their screen, some reviewers have mentioned that asking potential customers to share their screen requires them to go through multiple steps, which can be challenging for those who are not tech-savvy.

Lack of Video Conferencing: Several users have criticized the functionality of UberConference due to its lack of video call capabilities. They feel that adding video conferencing would greatly enhance the platform's features and make it more competitive compared to other conferencing services.

Based on user reviews, the three most common recommendations for UberConference are to try out UberConference, especially the free version. Users find it simple and easy to use, with crisp clear conferencing and screen controls. They recommend using UberConference for small teams and remote work, although they caution that the call quality may suffer with a large number of participants. Additionally, users suggest exploring other options for larger conferences or webinars, while acknowledging that UberConference is one of the best conferencing tools they've used. They recommend trying out the free version first to see if it meets your needs and taking advantage of a trial period. It's worth noting that some users also provide specific tips for optimizing the experience, such as ensuring participants have the correct PIN number and URL for screen sharing, using Chrome when possible, and upgrading to bypass PIN issues. Overall, users appreciate UberConference's ease of use, call quality, and configuration options compared to other conferencing software.

I work remotely and nearly all the internal meetings I attends are on Dialpad, as well as many external meetings.
  • Simple interface
  • User-friendly mobile app
  • Responsive screenshare
  • It would be nice to have confirmation of the screen I'm sharing outside of the app
Many of the external partners I meet with do not use Dialpad in their company, but report that it's very easy to use and has a clean interface. It does what it needs to do; it would just be nice if I could know (when I'm outside of the app), which screen I'm sharing. I use Dialpad 2-5 times a day and face this issue in most meetings.

We use Dialpad Meetings almost daily for internal and external customer meetings. Dialpad Meetings solves the remote meeting problem perfectly, especially in the post COVID era of less face-to-face time with colleagues and customers. This is great for small businesses and start-ups looking to have a web conference without the huge expense of Zoom or Teams memberships.
  • Audio - for phone and computer dial in
  • Visual - I like the default backgrounds and the ability to use webcams
  • Screensharing - This is an absolute must!
  • Sometimes the audio quality can cut out. That is not always a good thing when in an important meeting.
  • Users that don't use Chrome, or haven't updated their browsers experience audio issues
  • Every once in a while the visuals will disconnect if the internet bandwidth isn't big enough to host.
Again, this is great for small businesses and start-ups looking to have a web conference without the huge expense of Zoom or Teams memberships. This is well suited for conference calls, both internally and with customers. Screen sharing is a must, and this software provides worry free connections that we rely on. Video & audio are key factors as well.

UberConference is simply one of the topmost online meeting platforms that has all the main functions to be in the top in the niche of online meeting. It has powerful call controls, clear audio and video conferencing with having all the controls to connect and communicate. One of the best features of UberConference is that it has the feature of sharing the screen for individuals. This is one of the best features of the platform which allows participants to share their screen and explain their concepts visually and verbally. Overall I would say it is providing excellent services to our department which we are beyond our expectations.
  • It has a clean interface, web-based platform easy to use and straightforward so that new individual does not feel any complexity in setting up the first time.
  • The other main feature that makes it more amazing is the hold music for the meeting participants, the music plays when clients are in wait to join the meeting.
  • The customer support of this tool is reliable and responsive.
  • The main disadvantage of UberConference that it does not have a mobile or desktop app which sometimes becomes the main drawback of the platform. As the user always has to go on the browser to create or join the meeting.
  • UI is clunky sometimes and needs an improvement and the mute button also needs some new functionality.
  • The main drawback which makes the platform stuck is a slight change in the health of the internet connection as it has to lack the ability to catch up with network change. Sometimes it slows the system and browser a lot which leads to less functionality and hanging issue in the system.
It’s the best web-based video conferencing platform for businesses to have remote working to attend meetings with their team members. No need for a pin to connect to the meeting at all. Need some improvement in functionality and UI needs to be improved while dealing with a massive audience. Other than it’s a complete platform out there for online meetings. Must give it a try for me it is the best choice I have ever made.

It is one of the best conferencing apps I have used to date. We have our daily calls, monthly updates with leaders using UberConference. It is currently used by a department. It is great problem solver, it provides hassle free calls with great sharing features, great speed, and now we don't have to worry much about our internet speed.
  • Speedy.
  • Lag free calls.
  • Great integration with office, salesforce, LinkedIn.
  • Great back end support.
  • Easy to use interface.
  • Once my call was dropped while I was trying to add someone.
  • 45 minute meeting limit on the free version is a drawback.
  • Rest all is good.
I would like to say it is one of the best for daily business calls, very easy to record the sessions sharing files, add or drop someone. Best thing is you can customize the hold music, I really liked it. Scenarios where it is less appropriate is when someone has to switch between networks, then it hangs sometimes.

Dialpad UberConference is used by our entire organization. Each department uses it for client meetings, as well as, meeting with remote employees.
The connectivity is always pristine, even when communicating overseas. Video conferencing is always clear and screen sharing is an important tool for our employees. When our team meets with clients through UberConference, we rely on screen share to present the power points and other visual media. Overall, UberConference is an all-in-one tool that allows us to easily communicate with our clients.
  • UberConference is very user-friendly. It isn't difficult to sign on, especially for those who are using it for the first time. It can be nerve-wracking when a tool such as UberConference is complicated to get started. There is no pin required which is nice! UberConference doesn't pose that problem.
  • UberConference is always reliable for clear video conferencing, screen share, and great sound quality. Even when we are meeting with clients overseas, the connection never fails and is well-liked by both parties participating on the call.
  • UberConference is convenient for our company. Each person is familiar with the program, and there never seems to be any issues or complaints with the performance. Even with new hires, UberConference is commonly known, and if not, is always easy to learn.
  • Add better hold music options. Maybe advertising of some sort would be a better option instead of the generic hold tone.
  • Better consistency with call quality and reliability of functionality of the mute button and ending the call. Several situations have come up where either the mute didnt work when it was supposed to or the call didnt end when it was supposed to -- awkward.
If you are a business that connects with clients virtually, then Dalpad UberConference is a solid option. We meet with clients and prospects every day, so connection and reliability are very important. From a small office to a large conference room, the accessibility and usability are consistent. I don't work in a scenario on the daily where UberConference wouldn't b appropriate.

We Dialpad UberConference for our team meetings and discussions. Screen sharing during the conference call was very important in our case. we looked for several options and Dialpad UberConference was one of them. We decided to use Dialpad UberConference for our needs because of its seamless connection experience as well as its simple user interfaces.
  • Seamless user experience. It works well with slower internet connections and the call quality is also good.
  • Screen sharing during the conference call gives you a real virtual meeting experience with real-time collaboration.
  • Another great about Dialpad UberConference is that we don't have to download any software or enter pins to join a call.
  • One disadvantage is with [the] free conference they let you record only the audio of the conference while their business plan lets you record both video and audio.
  • Their Voice Intelligence transcribe [a] service is a good option but sometimes it gives you wrong information.
  • Their free version only allows you meetings [for] up to 45 minutes.
If your team has less than 10 members and place short meetings less than 45 [minutes], I think Dialpad UberConference free version is the best option for you. You can apply for a Business plan if you have more than 10 members. Their most competitive option is screen sharing with virtual collaboration. So if you're looking for more options like on-demand webcasting, presentation tools, and private chat, there are so many better options than Dialpad UberConference.

As an independent consultant, I used UberConference to connect with clients and other consultants. It provided an easy and free way to connect multiple individuals with the ability to share screens. It addressed the need to have a single dial-in solution without the cost or commitment of a long term contract (or any contract for that matter).
  • One-touch mobile dial-in
  • Screen sharing capabilities
  • Simple user interface
  • Screen sharing often hit technical difficulties
  • For those unfamiliar with the technology and joining from a computer versus the phone, they sometimes hit technical snags
  • Connection issues for screen sharing
Great for disparate teams who don't need video and mostly need a conference line for phone calls. If you're looking for video-call functionality, UberConference is not the solution. If you need a ton of screen sharing, I would look elsewhere. That said, it worked well for my small business and our specific needs. There is no software to download so it makes welcoming new folks to the convo very easy.

UberConference is used when needed by vendors requesting meetings from outside of our company. UberConference is easy to use as a means of communicating via voice and shared screens to streamline communication and ensure everyone is on the same page with respect to details on product demos and other technology needs.
  • Conferencing multiple people from different geographic regions
  • Sharing screens to makes sure everyone has access to the same information
  • Call/Meeting reminders
  • The wait time before people join the conference has awful music
  • Mobile usage is okay but can always be improved
  • Encourage sign on reminders 10 minutes before a meeting to make sure everything necessary is installed
Free conference calling for connecting people from across geographic areas.
Setting up conferences can be confusing with respect to time zone changes and connections.

UberConference is being used by our customer onboarding team for kickoff calls, data migration reviews, and trainings. Other departments such as our sales and marketing teams will use it as well, but it's most heavily used by our support and success teams. The app is super user-friendly and quickly allows us to hop on calls with customers as needed.
  • Simple and intuitive UI design, which is crucial for our customers who may not be very tech savvy.
  • Their connectivity and signal strength is great for screen shares and hosting lots of users at once.
  • Their platform is free to use, which is great for our growing team. You can also schedule international calls, which isn't always supported by other tools we've used.
  • Sometimes the connection can be a bit shaky, so improved performance would be great.
  • You currently cannot control someone else's screen when doing a screen share, so that would be a great feature add.
  • They have time limits for their screen shares for the free version, which is understandable.
UberConference is great for a lean team that needs a free solution that works well for screen shares and international customers. It's great for those who aren't very tech savvy. As our team grows, we'll probably look to use RingCentral Meetings moving forward, since the connection strength tends to be better and you have the ability to control someone's screen.

At my agency, we use UberConference for video meetings with our team and clients. We have some team members that often work remotely, and clients that are out of the state or country, and this makes it very easy for us. The quality is always top-notch. We've never had issues with connection, and the resolution is always the best.
  • HD video conferences.
  • Screen-sharing.
  • Support is always helpful.
  • I would like to see voice calls.
UberConference is perfect if you need to share your screen with a client. We design websites, and when we want to show the client the website on a video call, the best way for us to share our screens is with UberConference. It's easy, reliable, and our clients are always satisfied.

We use it daily for demos with all our clients and customers, in all departments, especially sales and customer support.
The only problems we encounter are usually on the other end with connection issues.
  • I love the simplicity of the screen share.
  • Great communication channels. Clear lines when talking, even with several users at the same time.
  • A simple login process for guests.
  • I know there's a Chat option, but I also wish there was a "Question" button, for when we're doing demos to multiple people and they're less inclined to speak up.
  • I wish you could eliminate the Holding 'beep' sound when using a separate dialer application.
  • Or It would be nice if UberConference had a dialing service built-in.
It does everything we need it to do for the demos that we do, without it taking away from the presentation.

UberConference is used by all of our employees across our two offices in Chicago and Dallas. It is used for all of our weekly staff meetings across all departments, and occasionally for conferences with our clients. It helps us continuously check in with each other and complete trainings without having to pay for travel all the time.
  • Makes joining conferences easy, with each person having a personalized link that can be shared.
  • It is compatible with computers AND phones/tablets and is user-friendly on both platforms. This helps me stay connected no matter where I am, whether in the office or commuting.
  • The option to share screens is very helpful and easy to use.
  • Sharing screens sometimes takes quite a while and causes the browser to crash.
  • 1 out of 6 times using UberConference, I have network connectivity issues even though my internet connection seems healthy.
  • Sharing screens sometimes significantly lowers the resolution of the image, to the point where the writing on the screen being shared is not legible.
It is great for quickly starting a conference, especially if you are on a normal call and just want to share something on a screen with a colleague. You just tell them your link and they can hop on with a few clicks.

Our firm uses UberConference to connect with project teams and clients, many of whom are spread out across the U.S. in different offices, and states, and/or countries. The screen share component of UberConference is especially useful, as the majority of our work involves models and presentations that truly need to be "walked-through" in real time.
  • Screen share capacity
  • Seamlessness of platform
  • Integration with Outlook
  • New update is very cumbersome, and includes too many beep-ons during calls
  • More connection quality issues with new update
  • Slightly confusing nature of new update has limited some of the "seamlessness", as we are now having problems when trying to help clients (who are less familiar with the platform) sign-on to a screenshare link.
It is impossible to do our work, which requires reviews of multiple different presentations, Excel models, and so on, without a screen share. Right now, our firm has not found a more reliable screen share platform than UberConference, and it is pretty well-understood by most. However, I'm not sure that I would recommend it if we weren't already using it.

UberConference was packaged as part of our Dialpad phone system, but before our company signed up for Dialpad it was used on the free tier quite often because it is by far the best free teleconference software out there. It is used mostly by management level employees to set up meetings with outside vendors or consultants. I found it quite easy to use as it doesn't require any software to be installed, so for restricted user accounts, it is an ideal choice. It also allows screen sharing across multiple platforms since it's entirely browser driven.
  • Easy to use, no privilege escalation needed for install.
  • Quick and clear connections, easy to tell who is speaking and who is on (or not) on the call.
  • Screen share works well with no technical assistance to most people!
  • Not much to improve other than maybe more direct calendar integration with Outlook (legacy desktop apps).
UberConference is well suited to almost any application. It is best suited for teleconference or p2p meetings over the computer. It can be used as a dial-in conference bridge but the paid tier offers more functionality on that level. It can even be used to technical support due to the built-in screen sharing feature and can be extremely useful when the end-user has no way to install an application privilege escalation. I would not recommend this as it's primary feature as this limited to just seeing what is on the screen and not so much geared toward remote-control or admin level administration. Uber Conference is extremely easy to setup and create spaces for having online meetings, it really excels at this and has handy visual aids to let you know what is going on with everyone else.

I've used UberConference to record interviews for assignments over the phone. It is the easiest way I've ever done interviews. All I need to do is put on my headset, give my subjects the number and time to call in, and then hit Record as soon as everyone's in the call.
  • It records calls with a simple push of a button, and does let everyone know the call is being recorded, which is a plus for those living in two-party states.
  • The interface is clean and easy to use.
  • The paid features allow you to call anyone for a conference call.
  • Retrieving recorded files is easy, and all the files are available immediately upon the end of the call.
  • Any app that uses Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" as an option for on-hold music is a winner already.
  • I wish I didn't need to pay to get a custom number; why not at least follow Google Voice's lead?
  • I also wish I didn't need to pay to dial-out to add guests to a given call.
  • As much as I like Rick Astley, I also-also wish I didn't need to pay to upload my own on-hold music; I want some vaporwave floating in my guests' ears!
If you want a record of any conference call, UberConference can do it. If you're not near a phone, but you have a laptop or desktop, you can access UberConference without having to download an app. And if your team is all across the world, so long as they have internet access, they can call in without having to pay international calling charges.

UberConference is being used by our entire organization as a cost-effective and readily available solution for staying in touch across geographically disparate offices. A number of individuals on our small team have created their own accounts so that they can host conference calls and do screen shares with each other quickly and easily. It allows us to join two offices fairly easily, and feel like we are looking at the same things together.
  • Cost-effective - UberConference is free!
  • Easy to use - it's user interface is simple and easy to understand.
  • Built-in conferencing and screen-sharing capabilities are very useful.
  • No need to pre-schedule meetings - it's easy to log in through a web interface and host or attend meetings on the fly.
  • Can be very laggy - I have been part of screen share conferences where the connection keeps dropping.
  • Call quality is not always the best.
  • Limited functionality - this cannot be your all-in-one go-to conferencing solution because there are no video call capabilities.
If you have a small business with a very limited conferencing budget, UberConference is great! Given that it's free, it's easy for users to set up an account without getting budget approval. However, if you need reliable call quality, screen-sharing or video conferencing, it's worth finding space in your budget for another product (Zoom or Amazon Chime, for example.)

Highfive helps us to connect with a lot of our remote colleagues and provides face to face interaction and screen sharing capability. Our department is split across to offices one on each coast, and it's easy to start feeling disconnected/independent from each other. Highfive is used to help bridge that gap giving us the ability to easily have a joint team meeting between the two offices in our respective conference rooms. Its use of screen sharing helps us in being able to provide an easy way to quickly walk through Powerpoint presentations or even show the team how to accomplish a particular workflow.
  • Highfive is great for connecting with remote colleagues and providing face to face interaction and screen sharing capability. Perfect for companies with multiple offices, or employees out in the field.
  • Highfive is great for Rick-Rolling your co-workers in other rooms when they least expect it.
  • Getting Rick-Rolled by your co-workers...
  • Highfive can at times lag, or run slowly if you or one of the participants in the meeting has slow internet.
  • Setting up Highfive correctly can be a bit complicated for those who are tech challenged.
Highfive is great for internal meetings or inviting an outside party to present to your team from a remote location. I've seen the program used very effectively to aid in training and collaboration.

It's not the best for large webinars where there could be a large number of individuals you don't know joining to listen/sit in on the content.

UberConference is the first software we used to allow us to conference call and/or screenshare with both employees and clients. Our staff is 100% remotely based, so being able to talk to our clients and staff helps us fill in the gaps in communication. It allows our team to build connections and culture and allows a trusting relationship to develop between our staff and our clients.

When training either staff or clients, the screen share capability is of the utmost importance. It allows us to have real time communication, like we're sitting side by side, instead of trying to email screen shots back and forth. Ultimately, it enhances our communication capabilities which makes it easier for our staff to do their work and makes our clients happy.
  • UberConference makes it easy to teleconference with more than one person. Sometimes you need to have 3 or more people on a phone call, and we don't have a phone system that supports that, so UberConference is how we can accomplish this. It's great because you just dial the phone number and you're in!
  • The screen sharing function, though it works just fine, seems to take up a significant amount of bandwidth and many times I see a frozen screen instead of fluid video streaming. I've used other softwares that seem to be better at this, so while the functionality does work, if I need to screen share often I will use a different software for that purpose.
  • More and more people are video conferencing these days, and that's one functionality that UberConference does not have. If they want to remain competitive, they may need to add this feature.
If you don't currently have a way to teleconference with more than 1 other person, UberConference is a good solution for that. If you need screen sharing capabilities as well, that's just a bonus feature for you. But if you have remotely based clients or staff and you want to develop good relationships with these people, video conferencing is a must. 80% of communication is non-verbal, so being able to SEE one another changes the dynamic of the conversation for the better.

My team uses Highfive to facilitate communication between our West Coast and East Coast teams. It drastically simplifies our weekly team meetings and bi-weekly team trainings (of which I help lead). As both teams grow for each coast, providing a virtual presence for new teammates creates a stronger feeling of team connectedness and company culture.
  • Highfive has a very friendly UI. Inviting others to join, muting attendees, casting options, etc., is well-labelled and intuitive to figure out without needing to read online resources or attend lengthy trainings.
  • Rarely have I experienced any connectivity issues. The entire length of our 45-60 minute meetings are not usually interrupted.
  • Lag. While connectivity for dropping typically has no issues, there is the occasional lag where a teammate is cut-off mid sentence followed by 2-3 seconds of frozen screen.
  • I'm not sure if its the quality of camera in our conference room, but the pixel quality/density tends to jump around every so often (to quantify I'd say this happens twice in a 45-60 minute meeting) during calls ranging from 240p to 720p as it tries to re-adjust to higher quality. This is not so bad as most of our team meetings do not require visual representation, but rather revolve around discussion.
  • Occasionally, the device which we want to cast to is unavailable. Again, I would be unsure if this is due to our tech or an issue with Highfive specifically. For instance, at least twice in 2016 we've had to move to a difference conference room because Highfive did not present our normal conference room as an option for casting while hosting.
Overall, the usefulness of Highfive outweighs the intermittent issues we've experienced with general use. My overall impressions have been positive. One area that I've been using Highfive for lately that has been very useful is to record a live broadcast of a training between our East and West Coast teams for reference later on or to have newer teammates watch.

We have been using Highfive as a video conferencing solution in our organization for the past year. It has been used as a solution across the organization. We have been able to leverage the benefits of using Highfive devices and also its wide device apps to have quick meetings with people working from different locations. Thereby saving a lot of time and effort in setting up such meetings.
Initiating a meeting is just a matter of few clicks - that's it.
  • Multiple Device Support helps people to access highfive anywhere and attend meetings at their convenience.
  • Wireless projection to displays removes the hassles of multiple wires and adapters for different machines.
  • Ease of presenting from your desktop which helps people in the meeting to view content on your machine.
  • Frequent loss in connection needs to be looked into.
  • High bandwidth usage can be improved upon.
  • Better managing features and meetings when there are poor connections or technical issues.
It's best suited in organizations that work across geographies. The high cost and high bandwidth are not suited for smaller organizations.

We use Highfive across the whole company for any type of interaction across locations save for all-company webinars and external client webinars. We use it as software engineers to pair program, though we use Screenhero more often for this activity. We use it for quick chats, one on ones, all of our Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective). It addresses our business problem of encouraging and enabling close collaboration of our many, distributed members.
  • Ease of use.
  • White-listed org ownership of meetings (no waiting for presenter).
  • All in one device is a great hardware solution (no piecing together speakers, phones, and webcams).
  • Screen sharing can lag on poor wireless connections.
  • Session recording would be very useful.
  • Battery usage can be significant. Reduction of power usage would be an improvement.
Very well suited for quick, easy face-to-face communication in a distributed group. Also, conferences with up to 25 individuals are painless. When the attendee limit exceeds 25, special care needs to be taken to avoid problems. On networks with spotty, wireless connections frustration will occur (like with any conferencing software). When intimate screen sharing is needed, a tool like Screenhero is better suited for pair programming or other screen share collaboration.

We use Highfive company-wide for conferencing in remote offices and employees. Rather than trying to hack Skype to work with cameras mounted on our conference room screens, we can have one device to plug in, mount above the TV, and have awesome video conferencing functionality.
  • Minimal initial config needed.
  • Audio and video quality is good (as long as your internet connection is good).
  • Desktop App is easy to use (with some caveats).
  • Highfive uses a lot of bandwidth. This has been a problem for our Atlanta office, where they have a cable internet connection. Our Auburn office has no problems, but we have a 250x250M fiber connection.
  • There's no option for lower resolution on slower connections.
  • Moving calls from laptop to TV and vice versa can sometimes be confusing.
  • No Linux app. I use Linux regularly and find it very frustrating that HighFive doesn't have an app so I'm forced to reboot into Mac OS to do HighFive calls.
  • Monthly cost is high.
  • Sometimes the hardware/software is glitchy and needs to be restarted.
HighFive is great if you fit their use case, which is basically a Mac or Windows user that wants to conference 2-3 locations together and have a lot of bandwidth. If you don't fit that exactly, HighFive is much less ideal. For example, if you have any Linux users, HighFive won't work at all for them. Also, if you want more capabilities beyond the basics, HighFive doesn't give you much.

My whole organization moved to Highfive for our video conferencing solution. We use it to facilitate meetings internally and externally. It is a great help when trying to organize a working session with a remote team.
  • Very simple to use, where other tools use passwords and complex links, users within an organization are able to join a call just by knowing the name and outsiders can be added in by the host.
  • Google Chrome add-on makes jumping into calls a little faster, although it does still require the standalone client.
  • Video and audio quality is ranges between excellent and bearable depending on connection quality.
  • Highfive has no built in chat feature, which is a large downside. Sharing links and general text conversation needs to be carried out through another service.
  • The simple nature of entering into any call with its name also means you can't truly have a secure internal call because any member of your organization with the name or link can join into the call.
  • We have also experienced a lot port based errors in our months with the product.
  • You are not able to choose which screen you share with Highfive.
Small teams and companies, this tool is very well suited to clients who don't have too many concurrent users where internal security is not an issue.
